# Which TVs and devices have the Kick app
Kick's download page has a TV block headed "Take TV to the next level". It says: "The KICK TV app lets you catch every moment on the big screen — no squinting required." Under it are three store links: the App Store, Google Play and Amazon. A separate console block links the Microsoft Store for Xbox.[1] The App Store and Google Play links in the TV block are the same listings as the phone app's, so on those two platforms you are looking for the same KICK app, not a separate TV app.[1]
| Device | Official Kick app? | Where to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Apple TV | Yes, needs tvOS 26 | App Store |
| TVs with Google Play | Yes | Google Play |
| Amazon Fire TV | Yes | Amazon Appstore |
| Xbox | Yes | Microsoft Store |
| Roku | Kick says coming soon, but a Kick listing exists | Roku Channel Store |
| Samsung, LG | Coming soon, says Kick | Mirror or cast for now |
| PlayStation | Not on Kick’s list | Mirror or cast for now |
Sources for the table, row by row. Apple's listing shows "iPhone, iPad, Apple TV" and, for Apple TV, "Requires tvOS 26 or later."[2] The Google Play listing splits its ratings by Phone, TV, Desktop and Tablet, and shows it was updated on Oct 13, 2026.[3] Amazon's listing says it works with the "Fire TV Voice Remote", was first listed on December 8, 2024, and needs Android 8.0.0 or later.[4] The Microsoft Store listing gives "Xbox console" as the device it is available on.[5] Kick's page covers the rest: "Roku, LG, Samsung coming soon."[1]
# How to get the official Kick app on your TV
On every supported platform the route is the same: open the store on the device, search for Kick, and check who published the app before you install it. These are the store names and publishers as they appear on each listing.
- Apple TV: App Store, "KICK - Live Streaming". The seller is Kick Streaming Pty Ltd. If the app will not install, check the Apple TV's software version first, because the listing says "Requires tvOS 26 or later."[2]
- TVs with Google Play: "KICK: Live Streaming". It is the same listing Kick links for phones, and its ratings include a TV tab.[3][1]
- Amazon Fire TV: Amazon Appstore, "Kick - Live Streaming". The developer shows as Kick Streaming Ltd Pty, and the listing was on version 1.7.0 when we read it.[4]
- Xbox: Microsoft Store, "KICK - Live Streaming". It is the listing Kick's download page links in its console block.[5][1]
We found no article about the TV apps in the viewer, getting-started and troubleshooting sections of Kick's help center. Its app guide is about phones and tablets: "The KICK app is available for free on both iOS and Android." It lists what you still have to do on kick.com, including "Subscription management — cancelling, changing payment methods, reviewing active subscriptions".[10] That guide is written for the mobile app. None of the pages read for this guide say how signing in works on the TV apps, so we do not describe steps for it.
# Roku, Samsung and LG: what coming soon means today
Kick's download page, read on 16 October 2026, says: "Roku, LG, Samsung coming soon."[1] Roku's own Channel Store, read the same day, already has an app called "Kick - Livestreaming" whose developer is KICK Streaming Pty Ltd, with one rating.[6] So Kick's page and Roku's store disagree. We did not install it on a Roku device, so we cannot say whether it plays streams yet. If you have a Roku, it costs nothing to search for it, and the developer line tells you whether you have the right one.
The catch is the other results. Searching Roku's store for kick also returns an app called "Kick livestreaming" from a developer named Undeadsaintsfan, and one called "KickStream: Live Stream & Game".[8] Google's first page for can you watch kick on tv, checked on 16 October 2026, links the Undeadsaintsfan listing, not Kick's.[15][7]
| Kick - Livestreaming | Kick livestreaming | |
|---|---|---|
| Developer | KICK Streaming Pty Ltd | Undeadsaintsfan |
| Rating | 5, from 1 rating | 2.43, from 120 ratings |
| Store category | Apps | Games |
| On Google’s first page | No | Yes |
# Can you watch Kick on PS5 or PS4?
Not through an official app, as far as Kick's own pages show. Its download page has one console app, and it is for Xbox: "Xbox players, pull up! KICK is now live on your system."[1] PlayStation does not appear anywhere on that page, and none of the pages read for this guide mention a PlayStation version.[1]
We could not check the PlayStation Store from a browser in a way that proves an app is missing, so treat this as what Kick says, not as a store check.
# No Kick app on your TV? Mirror or cast it
Two routes work without a Kick TV app at all, because they use features built into the phone, the browser and the TV. Which one fits depends on what your TV supports.
- From an iPhone to an AirPlay 2 TV. Apple: "On Apple TV 4K or a smart TV, you can show whatever appears on your iPhone." Open Control Center, tap the Screen Mirroring button and pick the TV. If an AirPlay passcode appears on the TV, enter it on the iPhone. Apple's note on streaming video adds that "both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network".[11]
- From Chrome on a computer to a Google Cast TV. Google: "You can cast most web content." You need a Chromecast, a Google TV Streamer or a "TV with Google Cast". Open kick.com in Chrome, pick More, then Cast, save, and share, then Cast, and choose the TV.[12]
One thing we did not check: whether the player on kick.com has its own Cast button. We found no Kick help article about casting, so this guide uses the browser’s Cast menu, which Google documents.
# Unofficial Kick TV apps: what to check first
Some of the apps that come up when you search for Kick on TV are not from Kick. One example is SmartKickTV, an open-source project on GitHub. It describes itself as an app for FireTV and Android TV "(Multi-Viewer + AdBlock Included)", installs by sideloading an APK with adb, and says plainly: "This app has no affiliation with Kick Streaming Pty Ltd."[13] The Roku listing from Undeadsaintsfan in Section 3 is another app that is not published by Kick.[7]
- Fire TV and Google Play TVs already have Kick's own app. On those devices you do not need an unofficial app to get Kick on the screen.[4][3]
- Sideloading means installing outside the store. SmartKickTV's own instructions use adb and an APK file.[13]
- Check the developer line every time. Kick's help center says the official app "is published by KICK directly."[10]
# For streamers: your viewers on the big screen
If part of your audience watches on a TV, it helps to know what the TV app shows them. The Fire TV app's latest update notes say: "Live events now show at the top of Browse Live and on each category page. Pick one to jump straight into MultiView."[4] That is the only description of TV app features in the store listings we read, and we found no TV guide in Kick's help center.[10]
If you are still setting up, the full walk-through is in how to stream on Kick, and how long Kick VODs last covers what viewers can catch later.
You set the speed and window

- No Kick password needed
- Per-order delivery log
# The bottom line
You can watch Kick on a TV through official apps on Apple TV (tvOS 26 or later), TVs with Google Play, Amazon Fire TV and Xbox.[1][2] Kick still calls Roku, LG and Samsung coming soon, though a Kick-made app is already in Roku's store.[1][6] On anything else, mirror an iPhone or cast a Chrome tab.[11][12] Before installing anything, check that the developer is Kick: on Roku, the result Google shows first is not.[7]
# FAQ
Can you watch Kick on TV?
Yes. Kick has official apps for Apple TV, TVs with Google Play and Amazon Fire TV, and a console app for Xbox. On other TVs you can mirror an iPhone over AirPlay 2 or cast a Chrome tab to a Google Cast TV.
Is there a Kick app for smart TVs?
For TVs that use Google Play, yes. Kick lists Samsung and LG as coming soon, so those TVs have no Kick app from Kick yet. Roku has a Kick-made listing in its store, though Kick’s own page still says coming soon.
Can you watch Kick on Roku?
Kick’s download page says Roku is coming soon. Roku’s Channel Store already lists “Kick - Livestreaming” by KICK Streaming Pty Ltd. A similar app called “Kick livestreaming” is by a different developer, so check the developer line.
How do I watch Kick on a Samsung or LG TV?
There is no Kick app for them yet; Kick lists both as coming soon. If the TV supports AirPlay 2 you can mirror an iPhone, and if it supports Google Cast you can cast a Chrome tab.
Can you watch Kick on a Firestick?
Yes. The Amazon Appstore has “Kick - Live Streaming” by Kick Streaming Ltd Pty, and it works with the Fire TV Voice Remote.
Why can’t I install Kick on my Apple TV?
The App Store listing says it requires tvOS 26 or later. If your Apple TV runs an older version, update it first, or mirror an iPhone instead.
Can you watch Kick on PS5?
Kick does not list a PlayStation app. Its only console app is for Xbox.
Is Kick on Xbox?
Yes. Kick’s download page links a console app for Xbox on the Microsoft Store, which lists Xbox console as the device it runs on.
Can you cast Kick from your phone?
From an iPhone you can mirror the screen to an Apple TV or an AirPlay 2 smart TV. From a computer you can cast a kick.com tab from Chrome to a Google Cast TV. We found no Kick help article on casting from inside its own app.
Are unofficial Kick TV apps safe?
They are not made by Kick. SmartKickTV, for example, says it has no affiliation with Kick Streaming Pty Ltd and installs by sideloading. On Fire TV and Google Play TVs, the official app is in the store.
