# What verified means on Kick
Kick uses the word verification for three different things, and search results mix them up. Google's first page for how to get verified on kick, checked on 11 October 2026, included Kick's Stripe identity article next to the Partner Program page. Only one of the three is the verified streamer status this guide is about.
| What it is | Who needs it | What it gives you |
|---|---|---|
| Verified streamer status | Streamers who want Partner | Checkmark, and the right to apply for Partner |
| Stripe identity check | Anyone taking payouts | Your account can receive payments |
| Age check (k-ID) | Viewers asked to prove age | Access where the law requires it |
Sources for the table. Kick's FAQ ties verified status to Partner: you "must first have a verified KICK channel profile."[1] Kick's safety guide describes the badge: "A legitimate verified account on KICK will have a verified checkmark next to the name on their profile".[9] The Stripe check is about money: "Once you have completed verification and received your confirmation email, your account will be ready to receive payments on KICK."[12] The age check is run by k-ID, which Kick calls "an age assurance and verification technology provider".[11] Passing the Stripe or age check does not make your channel verified.
# The requirements Kick lists today
The list is on Kick's Partner Program page, in the FAQ entry "What are the requirements to become verified on KICK?", which only opens when you click it. Kick's wording: "To become verified, you must be an affiliate and meet the following requirements, all in the past 30 days:"[1]
| Requirement | Kick's wording | Window |
|---|---|---|
| Hours streamed | Stream 15 hours | Past 30 days |
| Average viewers | A minimum average of 50 live concurrent viewership | Past 30 days |
| Unique chatters | 100 unique chatters | Past 30 days |
| Active subs | A minimum of 10 active subs | Past 30 days |
Kick then adds: "You must also meet the following security qualifications:"[1]
| Condition | Kick's wording | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Phone | Have a confirmed phone number | Account settings |
| 2FA | Have 2FA enabled on your account | Account settings |
| Username | No username changes in the past 30 days | Date of your last rename |
| VODs | Have 2 on-channel VODs minimum in past 7 days | Your channel's past streams |
| Rule breaks | No TOS violations in the past 30 days | Any strikes in the last month |
To see where you stand, open your Streamer Dashboard and "Select Achievements from the left menu".[5] Kick says "Most metrics on the Achievements page update daily. Follower count and subscriber count update more frequently."[5] Kick's Partner page points to the same Achievements section for tracking progress.[4] Kick does not say whether that page shows every verification item.
# Why other guides quote 30 hours and 75 viewers
If you have read other guides, the numbers above may look low. That is because many guides still copy the bar Kick set in May 2023. Dexerto reported it at the time: Kick said "all verification requests before May 15, 2023, will be handled under the old requirements."[14] The same article says the earlier rules "required 50 average viewers alongside 15 hours of stream time over 7 days."[14] Kick's FAQ today is back at 15 hours and 50 viewers, measured over 30 days.[1]
| Requirement | Kick's FAQ today | 2023 bar, still quoted |
|---|---|---|
| Hours streamed | 15 in 30 days | 30 in 30 days |
| Days streamed | Not listed | 12 in 30 days |
| Average viewers | 50 | 75 |
| Unique chatters | 100 | 300 |
| Active subs | 10 | 20 |
| VODs on channel | 2 in the past 7 days | 3 in the past 30 days |
The quotes behind the right-hand column. Dexerto's guide, last updated May 31, 2024, lists "Stream 12 unique days in the past 30 days" and "A minimum average of 75 Live Concurrent Viewership in the past 30 days", along with 30 hours, 300 chatters, 20 subs and 3 VODs in 30 days.[15] A getafollower guide titled "How to Get Verified on Kick in 2026: A Step-by-Step Guide", showing "Updated on Jun 30, 2026", gives the same bar, including "Average of 75 live viewers over the past 30 days" and "Minimum 300 different chatters".[16] Both were on Google's first three pages for how to get verified on kick on 11 October 2026.
# How to apply for verification
Kick does not have an apply button for verification in the pages read for this guide. What it does publish is an email address. Its support contacts page lists, under "Verified Streamer Application", the address verify@kick.com.[2] The same page adds: "For any account-related enquiries, please ensure to use the email associated with your account."[2]
- Check that you are an affiliate. Kick's FAQ requires it first.[1] For that step, see the Kick monetization guide.
- Check the four numbers for the past 30 days. Use the Achievements page in your Streamer Dashboard.[5]
- Check the five security conditions. Phone confirmed, 2FA on, no rename in 30 days, two VODs from the last 7 days, no violations in 30 days.[1]
- Email verify@kick.com from your account's email address. That is the address Kick lists for verified streamer applications.[2]
- Say which channel it is. Kick's pages read for this guide do not say what to write. Dexerto's guide advises including "your channel name and what kind of content you stream".[15] For Partner, Kick asks applicants to "include your KICK username".[4] Giving your username is the safe minimum.
# What usually blocks a channel
The four numbers get the attention, but the security list is where a channel can fail without noticing. These are the ones worth checking before you email.
- A recent username change. The FAQ asks for "No username changes in the past 30 days".[1] If you renamed, count 30 days from that date. Our guide to changing your Kick username covers the rename itself.
- Not enough recent VODs. You need "2 on-channel VODs minimum in past 7 days".[1] Kick keeps replays of non-verified channels for 7 days: "For non-verified streamers, replays remain available for 7 days after the livestream concludes."[7] Our reading: in practice this means at least two streams in the last week, with replays saved and not deleted. More on replay limits in how long Kick VODs last.
- 2FA or the phone number not set up. Both are on the list.[1]
- A rule break in the last 30 days. "No TOS violations in the past 30 days" is a condition, so a strike resets the clock.[1]
- The 50-viewer average. It is an average across the 30 days, so one big stream will not carry a month of small ones.[1]
You set the speed and window
Streamrise sells Kick viewers. You set the delivery speed and window in the dashboard, from 30 minutes to a month. No Kick password needed, just your channel link. Kick's verification rules, quoted above, ban artificially inflating statistics to meet verification requirements. Read them and decide for yourself.
- 30 min to a month, you set the window
- No Kick password needed
- Per-order delivery log
# Refused or revoked: what Kick says to do
Kick's page on refusals gives two routes. To try again: "To reapply for verification, make sure you meet the initial requirements and wait 30 days."[3] If verification is taken away, you can appeal by emailing verify@kick.com, and Kick says: "Use the subject line Appeal along with your handle to explain your concerns."[3]
The same page lists the reasons Kick refuses or removes verification, including repeated rule breaks, stat manipulation, 90 days of inactivity, and mirror, blank or pre-recorded streams.[3] We go through that list, and what it means for your VODs, in how long Kick VODs last.
# After verification: the Partner step
Verification changes some things straight away. Kick says "Verified streamers can keep stream replays on their channel for up to 30 days after the livestream ends."[7] Payout timing also changes: "Non-verified Streamers receive monthly payouts only."[8] Kick's branding guide adds that "Once you become a KICK Affiliate or Verified Streamer, you can upload custom Emotes that your community can use across KICK chat."[10] The full comparison is in our guide to Kick VODs.
The bigger change is that you can apply for Partner. Kick's Partner page lists "Your channel is verified ✅ on KICK before applying to the KICK Partner Program." among its requirements, along with a 75 average CCV, 30 hours streamed, 25 active subscriptions, 250 unique chatters, 3 VODs and 250 followers, all in the past 30 days.[4] It also warns: "Meeting the requirements above doesn’t guarantee entry into the KICK Partner Program, it makes you eligible to apply."[4] For the application itself, read the Kick Partner Program guide.
# The bottom line
Kick's current bar for verification is lower than most guides say: affiliate status, then 15 hours, 50 average viewers, 100 chatters and 10 active subs over 30 days, plus a phone, 2FA, no recent rename, two recent VODs and a clean record.[1] When you meet it, email verify@kick.com from your account address.[2] If a guide asks you for 30 hours and 75 viewers, it is describing the 2023 rules.[14] And if you are refused, you can reapply after 30 days.[3]
# FAQ
How do you get verified on Kick?
Be an affiliate, then reach 15 hours streamed, an average of 50 live viewers, 100 unique chatters and 10 active subs in the past 30 days. Add a confirmed phone, 2FA, no rename in 30 days, two VODs from the past 7 days and no violations in 30 days. Then email verify@kick.com from your account email.
How many followers do you need to get verified on Kick?
Kick's verification list does not include a follower count. Followers come in at the Partner step, which asks for at least 250.
Can I get verified with 1,000 followers?
Not on followers alone. Kick looks at hours, average viewers, chatters and subs over 30 days, plus security conditions. A large follower count does not replace any of them.
How many subs does it take to get verified on Kick?
Kick's FAQ says a minimum of 10 active subs in the past 30 days. Guides that say 20 are quoting the 2023 rules.
How many viewers do you need to get verified on Kick?
An average of 50 live concurrent viewers over the past 30 days. Kick's 1080p article mentions 75 as a milestone on the way, but the verification FAQ says 50.
What email do you use to get verified on Kick?
Kick's support contacts page lists verify@kick.com for verified streamer applications. Send it from the email address on your Kick account.
How long does Kick verification take?
Kick does not publish a time for verification. The 24-hour reply Kick promises is for Fast Track, which is a route into the Partner Program, not verification.
What does the green checkmark on Kick mean?
Kick's safety guide says a legitimate verified account has a verified checkmark next to the name on its profile. It marks verified status.
Do you need to be verified to become a Kick Partner?
Yes. Kick lists a verified channel as a requirement before you apply to the Partner Program.
What if Kick rejects my verification?
Kick says to meet the requirements and wait 30 days before reapplying. If verification is removed, you can appeal to verify@kick.com with the subject line Appeal and your handle.
How do I verify my age on Kick?
That is a different process, run by k-ID, and it does not make your channel verified. Kick explains it in its Age assurance FAQs.
Is Stripe verification the same as getting verified?
No. Stripe identity verification lets your account receive payments. Verified streamer status is a separate step with its own requirements.
