# How to cancel a Kick subscription on kick.com
Kick's article on cancelling lists five steps.[1] They work in a desktop browser, and Kick's mobile app guide says you can also do this by logging in "in your browser on desktop or mobile."[3]
- Log in to your Kick account on kick.com.[1]
- Go to your account settings.[1]
- Open the Subscriptions section.[1]
- Find the channel you want to stop supporting.[1]
- Click Unsubscribe and confirm.[1]
Kick's older subscribe article gives a direct address for the same page, kick.com/transactions/subscriptions, and says a sub "can be cancelled at any time from the subscriptions page in your account."[4] The same Subscriptions list shows "what you are subscribed to, when each subscription renews", so it is also the place to check which channels will charge you next.[1]
# Paid on an iPhone or Android? Cancel there too
Kick's cancelling article adds a warning for subs bought through a phone's own payment system: "If the subscriptions were purchased through Google/Apple Pay, they should make sure the subscription is cancelled in the Google Play app/Apple Subscriptions as well, to avoid any potential future charges and ensure the subscription is fully cancelled."[1] In other words, unsubscribe on kick.com, then check your Apple or Google subscriptions list. Here is where those lists are.
| You paid with | Cancel in | Steps |
|---|---|---|
| Card, PayPal or another web method | Kick | Account settings, Subscriptions, Unsubscribe |
| Apple, on iPhone or iPad | Kick, then Apple | Settings, your name, Subscriptions |
| Google Play, on Android | Kick, then Google Play | Play Store, Subscriptions, Cancel |
Apple's steps for an iPhone or iPad: "In Settings, tap your name. Tap Subscriptions. Tap the subscription. Tap Cancel Subscription." Apple adds: "If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled."[7] Google's steps: go to subscriptions in Google Play, select the subscription and tap Cancel subscription.[8] If you cannot see a Kick entry on either list, the sub was probably not billed by Apple or Google, and kick.com is the only place to cancel it. Apple's own advice for that case is to check your bank or card statement to see which company bills you.[7]
# What happens after you cancel
Kick lists four things that happen when you unsubscribe: the sub stays active until the end of the current billing period, you keep your perks during that time, "Auto-renewal is turned off, so you will not be charged again", and after the period ends you lose your perks in that channel.[1] Kick also puts it as a reminder: "Unsubscribing does not immediately end your subscription."[1]
| Perk | Until the paid period ends | After it ends |
|---|---|---|
| Sub badge in chat | Kept | Gone in that channel |
| Sub emotes | Work across Kick chat | Stop working |
| Sub-only chat | Still open to you | Closed to you |
| Next charge | None | None |
On emotes, Kick's viewer guide says: "Subscriber Emotes only work while you are actively subscribed."[2] The badge and sub-only chat access are listed as sub perks in the same guide.[2]
# Subs that renew, or stop, when you might not expect
- The streamer left Kick, but you are still paying. Kick's FAQ answer: "your subscription will continue to renew until either the user cancels or the streamer deletes the account", or the streamer asks for an account pause.[2] If a channel you support has gone quiet, check your Subscriptions list rather than assume the sub ended.
- Your card failed, and the sub ended on its own. Kick: "If a renewal payment fails, your subscription will not continue, and you will lose your subscriber benefits until you re-subscribe or update your payment method."[5] Kick lists an expired card, a changed billing address, a replaced card and low funds as common causes.[5]
- Someone gifted you a sub. There is nothing to cancel. Kick: "Gifted subs typically last for one month. Once that month ends, the sub does not renew automatically."[6] More on gifts in how to gift subs on Kick.
- You subscribed to several channels. Kick says "Each subscription is separate and renews on its own schedule."[2] Cancelling one does not cancel the others, so go through the list channel by channel.
# Can you get a refund?
Usually not. Kick: "KICK's standard policy is that all purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law." Kick says this covers subscriptions, KICKs and other digital content.[1] The same article then lists cases where you may still be owed money.
| Situation | What Kick means |
|---|---|
| Required by law | Consumer law in places such as the EU and parts of Australia |
| Duplicate charge | Charged twice for the same sub |
| Charged after cancelling | You cancelled before a renewal and were still charged |
| Unauthorised purchase | Someone subscribed from your account without permission |
| Technical error | Payment went through but the sub never started |
- Email Kick's Subscriptions Team at subscriptions@kick.com, the address on Kick's refund page.[1]
- Include five details: your Kick username, the channel you subscribed to, the date and amount of the charge, the last four digits of the card, and why you want a refund.[1]
- Wait for the review. Kick: "Most refund requests are reviewed within a few business days."[1]
- Allow time for the money. Once approved, Kick gives 5 to 10 business days for credit cards and up to 10 for debit cards, and says to contact your bank first if it has been longer.[1]
Two time limits matter. Kick's refund page: "Disputed amounts must be raised with us in writing within 30 days of the payment".[1] Kick's Terms say the same in legal form: "If you dispute any payment made hereunder, you must notify Company in writing within thirty (30) days of such payment".[9] If the charge came through Apple or Google, those companies run their own refund process. Google points to its Google Play refund policies, and Kick's refund page does not say how it handles store purchases.[8][1]
# Where Kick’s own pages disagree
Kick's help articles were written at different times, and several of them answer the same question differently. None of this stops you from cancelling, but it explains why guides, including Kick's, can seem to contradict each other.
| Question | One Kick page | Another Kick page |
|---|---|---|
| Can you change the card on a sub? | No, cancel and resubscribe | Yes, the new card is used next renewal |
| When does cancelling take effect? | End of the current billing period | The month after you give notice |
| Is cancelling only on kick.com? | Yes, not in the mobile app | Store subs: cancel in Apple or Google too |
| What does a sub cost? | $4.99 | A flat $5 USD a month |
The quotes behind the rows. On cards, the cancelling article (August 27, 2026): "KICK does not currently support changing the payment method on an active subscription."[1] The payment troubleshooting article (May 6, 2026): "If you have an active subscription, your new card will be used for the next renewal."[5] On timing, the cancelling article says the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period,[1] while section 4.4 of Kick's Terms, dated 23 March 2026, says: "ANY NOTICE OF CANCELLATION MUST BE SUBMITTED ON YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS SETTINGS PAGE AND WILL BE EFFECTIVE IN THE MONTH FOLLOWING THE MONTH YOU PROVIDE US NOTICE".[9] On price, the subscribe article says "The cost of a subscription is $4.99"[4] and the viewer guide says "KICK Subscriptions are a flat $5 USD per month".[2]
Third-party guides add another layer. A WorldsApps page that came up in our search for this query gives steps only for the App Store, Google Play and PayPal, telling iPhone users to open their Apple subscriptions and "Find Kick and tap on it."[10] It does not mention Kick's own Subscriptions page, which Kick's help center gives as the main way to cancel.[1] If you subscribed on kick.com with a card, there will be no Kick entry in your Apple or Google list to find. WorldsApps does get one thing right: "Deleting the app does not stop payments."[10]
# For streamers: when viewers cancel
If you stream, a viewer's cancellation does not end their sub on the spot. Kick says the viewer "will continue to be a subscriber" and keeps the perks until the period they paid for ends.[1] Gifted subs, Kick says, "count the same as any other subscription" toward your subscriber count and Partner eligibility, and they do not renew after their month.[6] Kick's pages do not say on which day a cancelled sub drops out of your dashboard count, so treat that as unknown. For what sub badges look like at each milestone, see how to add sub badges on Kick, and for what you earn per sub, does Kick pay hourly.
You set the speed and window
Streamrise sells Kick viewers. You set the delivery speed and window in the dashboard, from 30 minutes to a month. No Kick password needed, just your channel link. Kick's Community Guidelines prohibit bots and third-party tools that artificially inflate views. Read them and decide for yourself.

- No Kick password needed
- Per-order delivery log
# The bottom line
Cancel on kick.com: account settings, Subscriptions, Unsubscribe.[1] If Apple or Google billed you, cancel there as well, because Kick tells you to and deleting the app does nothing.[1][8] Your perks run to the end of the paid period, and the sub cannot be switched back on.[1] If you were charged after cancelling, email Kick within 30 days of the payment and before you call your bank.[1][9]

Can I get a refund on a Kick sub?
Kick’s standard policy is no refunds unless the law requires one. It lists exceptions such as duplicate charges, being charged after you cancelled, unauthorised purchases and subs that never activated. Raise it within 30 days of the payment.
I cancelled but was still charged. What now?
Email Kick’s Subscriptions Team with your username, the channel, the date and amount, and the last four card digits. Do this before a chargeback, which Kick says can get your account suspended while it investigates.
